Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the photography studio services provided by Dot Studio to clients. By booking or using our studio facilities, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Studio Hire Agreement

1.1 Booking Confirmation
All studio bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through our online booking system. A booking is not considered confirmed until the invoice is paid in full.
1.2 Booking Modifications and Cancellations
Bookings are non-refundable.
48hours notice is required for any cancelations, cancelations made with more the 48hours notice are available for a rescheduled booking date. Any cancelations made within 48hours forfeit the booking fee and are not available for a reschedule date.
Bookings are only eligible for 1 rescheduled date.

2. Studio Equipment
The studio may provide certain equipment, such as lights, backdrops furniture, and props. You are responsible for the safe and careful use of all equipment provided. Any damages to equipment and props will be charged to you at full replacement, cleaning or repair cost.
Paper roll usage is a complimentary service for all bookings, we will do our best to keep the website updated with our current selection. We are not liable for any missing colours or empty rolls during your booking. If you require a certain roll for your project we recommend you call us first or bring your own roll to avoid disappointment.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 Conduct
Clients must maintain a professional demeanour while using the studio. The use of illegal substances or any disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited including smoking and vaping. The use of smoke machines is strictly prohibited. Please keep all noise and music to a respectable level.
3.2 Cleanliness and Damage
Clients are responsible for leaving the studio in the same condition as it was upon arrival. Any additional cleaning required will be billed at $80 per hour. Any damage to the studio, equipment, or props will result in charges for repairs or replacement.
All furniture and gear must be returned to it’s original place.
4. Studio Availability
4.1 Availability of Studio
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the studio is available for your booked session. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure, accidents, etc.), we may need to reschedule or cancel your booking. In such cases, you will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
4.2 Overtime
Your booking includes the time agreed upon at the time of the booking. If you exceed your allocated time, overtime will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour.
Your allocated booking time includes bump in & out time.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 Insurance
Clients are advised to obtain their own insurance for coverage in case of accidents or damage during the hire period. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property or persons while using the studio.
Any fire alarm activations /and any resulting fire department call out fees will be billed directly to the client.
5.2 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to provide the studio or services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or other events considered "force majeure."
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Personal Data
By booking our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data. Your data will be used only for the purposes of booking and fulfilling your session, and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

7. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be effective immediately upon posting.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, NSW. Any disputes related to these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in NSW.
